NEVER AGAIN by Spaces for Change

On March 15, 2014, Nigeria witnessed a needless and avoidable tragedy in which about 19 young Nigerians including pregnant women died and some others were injured in their bid to get recruited into the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS). Over 19 of these Nigerians were killed in a stampede in various stadia across Nigeria including Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

This site is a repository of photos, short videos and clips capturing what happened on that day. By documenting this tragedy, political leaders, the teeming population of unemployed Nigerian youth and the future generations will keep this memory alive as a transformative force that can galvanize them to work together to ensure that something this tragic never happens again.

Photos were culled mainly from March 15, 2015 picture postings on Spaces for Change's Discussion Forum on Facebook, and includes those gathered from different sites across the web. Many applicants who participated in the examinations also submitted personal shots taken during the examination in their respective centers. SUBMIT YOURS TODAY!

NEVER AGAIN, should this ever happen in our country, Nigeria!
